身近な動物の名前を表す5級レベルの基本語彙を学びます。イラストでイメージしやすい単語から始めて、英語の語彙を楽しく増やす第一歩が踏み出せます。
コア意味と使い方
dog / cat / bird / tree / flower は数えられるので a ＋ 単数、s で複数です。
sun は世界に1つしかないので the sun。
「花が咲く」は Flowers bloom.、「木に登る」は climb a tree と言います。
使い方 —There is / There are で「ある」を表す
There is a cat under the tree.（1つ）/ There are many flowers in the garden.（複数）と、後ろの名詞の数で is / are を選びます。
動物の全般の話は複数形で言います（Cats like fish.）。
つまずきやすい所
○ the sun

1つしかないものには the。
○ There is a cat.
✗ There are a cat.
後ろが単数なら is。
○ Cats like fish.
✗ Cat likes fish.（全般の意味で）
全般の話は複数形で言う。
the sun と a dog の違い、There is / are の使い分け。この2点で自然の語が使えるようになります。
