already / yet / still / just / by / until などの時の副詞です。位置と、by / until の違いが要点です。
ルール —位置と使う文の種類
already（もう・肯定文）/ yet（まだ・否定文、もう・疑問文）/ still（まだ継続）/ just（ちょうど）。
位置は一般動詞の前、be動詞・助動詞の後ろ、完了形では助動詞と本動詞の間です。
yet は文末に置きます。
使い方 —by と until の違い
by Friday（金曜までに完了）↔ until Friday（金曜まで継続）で意味が違います。
still（まだ続いている）↔ yet（まだ起きていない）も対で覚えます。
not ... yet ＝ まだ〜していない。
つまずきやすい所
○ I haven't finished yet.
✗ I haven't finished already.
否定文では yet。
○ Please wait until Friday.
✗ Please wait by Friday.（継続の意味で）
継続は until、期限は by。
○ He is still waiting.
✗ He still is waiting.
be動詞の後ろに置く。
