It を仮の主語・目的語に置き、本当の内容を後ろに回す形です。for 人 と of 人 の使い分けが最大のポイントです。
ルール —真主語は to 不定詞句か that 節
To study English every day is important. は頭が重いので、It is important to study English every day. と言い換えます。
that 節も同じ（It is clear that he is lying.）。
形式目的語は I found it difficult to answer. のように〈find / think ＋ it ＋ 形容詞 ＋ to V〉の形をとります。
使い方 —for 人 と of 人 の使い分け
難易・重要性を表す形容詞（difficult / easy / important / necessary）は for 人。
人の性質を評価する形容詞（kind / nice / foolish / wise / careless）は of 人 です。
of の文は「（人）は〜するなんて…だ」と人を評価しているので、It was kind of you 〜 は「あなたは親切だ」の意味になります。
つまずきやすい所
○ It is kind of you to help me.
✗ It is kind for you to help me.
人の性質を評価する形容詞は of 人。
○ It is difficult for me to learn a language.
✗ It is difficult of me to learn a language.
難易を表す形容詞は for 人。
○ I found it difficult to answer the question.
✗ I found difficult to answer the question.
形式目的語の it を落とさない。
for 人 と of 人 の使い分けが設問の急所。形式目的語の it も落とさないことです。
