A Day at the Zoo Last Sunday, my family and I went to the city zoo. The weather was sunny and warm, so it was perfect for a day out. We arrived at the zoo at 10 a.m. First, we saw the elephants. They were huge and very gentle. My little sister was a little scared at first, but she enjoyed feeding them with bananas. After lunch at a small restaurant in the zoo, we visited the monkey area. The monkeys were really funny. They climbed trees quickly and made loud sounds. At 3 p.m., my favorite event began — the dolphin show! The dolphins jumped very high and even waved their tails at us. It was amazing! We left the zoo at 5 p.m. and went home tired but happy. I want to visit the zoo again next month.
