疑問詞 ＋ S ＋ V / whether と if / 前置詞の後 / 付加疑問の例外。語順を平叙文に戻すのが基本です。
語順と、whether しか使えない位置
間接疑問は疑問文ではないので、do を使わず平叙語順（S ＋ V）に戻します。
if が使えるのは動詞の目的語のときだけで、主語の位置・前置詞の後・or not の直前・to 不定詞の前は whether のみです。
前置詞の目的語に疑問詞節を置く場合も語順は平叙のままです。
付加疑問の例外を押さえる
命令文の付加疑問は主語・助動詞に関係なく will / won't / would you。
there 構文は there をそのまま主語として反復します（There is a problem, isn't there?）。
I am 〜 の否定タグは aren't I?。
この3つが例外の定番です。
つまずきやすい所
○ I wonder where he went.
✗ I wonder where did he go.
間接疑問は平叙語順。
○ It depends on whether he agrees.
✗ It depends on if he agrees.
前置詞の後は whether。
○ There is a problem, isn't there?
✗ There is a problem, isn't it?
there をそのまま反復する。
語順の原則と whether の4つの位置、付加疑問の例外3つ。ここが1級の得点源です。
