4級 · 語彙 · 第5回
食事や料理に関する4級レベルの基本語彙を学びます。食べ物・飲み物・調理の動作を表す語を整理し、日常会話やかんたんな読解で使える力が身につきます。
コア意味と使い方
bake は「（オーブンで）焼く」で baking は動名詞・現在分詞。
taste は「〜の味がする」（It tastes sweet.）と「味わう」の両方。
cut は cut A into B（AをBに切る）、add は add A to B（AをBに加える）。
sweet は「甘い」で、味の形容詞は be動詞＋形容詞、または taste ＋ 形容詞の形で使います。
使い方 —taste は後ろに形容詞
感覚を表す動詞（taste / smell / look / sound）は後ろに形容詞を置きます（It tastes sweet.）。
副詞にはしません。
料理の手順は命令文で書かれ、First / Next / Finally で並びます。
つまずきやすい所
○ This cake tastes sweet.
✗ This cake tastes sweetly.
感覚動詞の後ろは形容詞。
○ Add some salt to the soup.
✗ Add the soup some salt.
add A to B の語順。
○ Cut the carrot into small pieces.
✗ Cut the carrot in small pieces.
変化の結果は into。
感覚動詞の後ろは形容詞、cut と add の語順。この3点が4級の頻出です。
