修理を妨げる具体的な手段

製造者は安全と品質の保証だと弁明しますが、効果は買い替えへの誘導だと批判されます。
産業側の主張を部分的に認める
There is a kernel of truth here; not every repair is safe, and design does require investment.（一分の真実がある。すべての修理が安全とは限らず、設計には投資が要る）。
そのうえで But the deeper objection is that a culture of disposability has been quietly normalised, presented to us as convenience while its costs are externalised onto the planet and the poor. と、費用の外部化を指摘します。
