no more than / no less than / not so much A as B / the ＋ 比較級, the ＋ 比較級 / all the ＋ 比較級 for。数量と程度の強調です。
no more / no less は方向が逆
no more than ＝ only（たった〜にすぎない。少なさを強調）、no less than ＝ as much as（〜もの多さ。多さに驚く）。
not more than ＝ at most（多くても）／not less than ＝ at least（少なくとも） は事実の上限下限で、驚きの含みがありません。
この4つの区別が1級の定番です。
比例と、逆説的な強調
the ＋ 比較級, the ＋ 比較級 は比例で、前半が条件、後半が帰結。
両方とも文頭に the ＋ 比較級 を前置します。
all the ＋ 比較級 ＋ for 〜 は「〜だからこそ一層」で、普通なら評価が下がる要因が逆に評価を上げる逆説を作ります（I respect him all the more for admitting his mistakes.）。
つまずきやすい所
○ 「たった〜」（少なさの強調）
✗ no more than を「〜以下」と読む
上限は not more than。
○ not so much A as B
✗ not so much A than B
相方は as。
○ The harder you work, the more you earn.
✗ Harder you work, more you earn.
両方に the が必要。
4つの数量表現を表で固定し、比例と逆説的強調の形を押さえます。
