話法（間接話法）

say / tell / ask で発言を伝えます。接続副詞は文と文をつなぐだけで、節はつなげません（前にセミコロンかピリオドが要ります）。
ルール —報告動詞が過去なら1時制後退
is → was、has → had、will → would、過去形 → 過去完了。
代名詞と時・場所の副詞も話し手の視点に合わせます（today → that day、here → there）。
say は相手を直接取らず（say to 人）、tell は tell 人 と相手が必須です。
使い方 —疑問文でも語順は平叙文に戻す
間接話法の疑問文では疑問符が消え、do / does / did を使わず、〈疑問詞 ＋ 主語 ＋ 動詞〉の語順になります。
時制シフトは「今も変わらない事実」なら省略されることもあります（He said the earth is round.）。
つまずきやすい所
○ He asked where I lived.
✗ He asked where did I live.
平叙文の語順に戻し do は使わない。
○ He told me that 〜 / He said that 〜
✗ He said me that 〜
say は相手を直接取らない。
○ She told me not to worry.
✗ She told me don't worry.
否定命令は not to ＋ 原形。
時制シフト・say と tell・疑問文の語順。この3点が話法の設問の中心です。
