problem / solve / solution / suggest / decide の5語。提案と決定の動詞は後ろの形が問われます。
コア意味と使い方
problem は「問題」で have a problem with 〜。
solve は「解決する」で名詞は solution（a solution to 〜）。
suggest は「提案する」で後ろは -ing か that 節（to V は不可）。
decide は「決める」で後ろは to V です。
この2つの動詞の型の違いが最頻出です。
使い方 —話し合いの型
「〜しましょう」は Why don't we 〜? / How about -ing?、「〜すべきだ」は should。
意見をまとめるときは In conclusion / Finally を使います。
ライティングでも使える型です。
つまずきやすい所
○ He suggested going by bus.
✗ He suggested to go by bus.
suggest は to 不定詞をとらない。
○ We decided to go by train.
✗ We decided going by train.
decide は to 不定詞。
○ a solution to this problem
✗ a solution of this problem
solution は to をとる。
suggest は -ing、decide は to V。この対比が3級の定番出題です。
