Not until の倒置 / 混合条件 / with ＋ 名詞 ＋ 分詞 / 数量詞 ＋ of whom / the ＋ 比較級。混ざって出る型の判定です。
文頭の合図で型を決める
Not until で始まったら主節が倒置。
If 節と主節で時制がずれていたら混合条件。
with ＋ 名詞 ＋ 分詞 は主節と別主語の付帯状況（with the roof leaking, …）。
コンマ ＋ 数量詞 ＋ of whom / of which は非制限用法で先行詞の一部を取り出します。
the ＋ 比較級 が2回出たら比例です。
付帯状況の with を使いこなす
with ＋ 名詞 ＋ 分詞／形容詞／前置詞句 は、主節と別の主語で「〜した状態で」を添えます（with the deadline approaching / with his hands in his pockets）。
分詞構文が主節と同じ主語を要求するのに対し、with は別主語を許すのが利点です。
ここが1級の書き分けの見せ場になります。
つまずきやすい所
○ … did the nation begin …
✗ Not until the war ended the nation began …
主節を倒置する。
○ many of whom had no experience
✗ fifty graduates, many of them had no experience
them では節をつなげない。
○ 別主語なら with ＋ 名詞 ＋ 分詞
✗ 分詞構文で別主語を使う
懸垂分詞を避ける。
文頭の合図から型を引くこと。付帯状況の with は分詞構文の弱点を補う手段です。
