比較級の強め方、not as ... as、the 比較級 ... the 比較級、no more than など2級の比較表現をまとめます。
ルール —比較級を強めるのは much / far / a lot
比較級は much / far / a lot / even / still で強めます（× very ＋ 比較級）。
not as ... as は「〜ほど…ない」で less ... than と同義。
the ＋ 比較級, the ＋ 比較級 は「〜すればするほど」、比較級 and 比較級 は「だんだん〜になる」です。
使い方 —no more than と not more than
no more than ＝ only（たった）、not more than ＝ at most（多くても）で意味が違います。
同様に no less than ＝ as much as（〜も）、not less than ＝ at least（少なくとも）。
最上級との書き換え（No other 〜 is 比較級 than）も頻出です。
つまずきやすい所
○ much better
✗ very better
比較級を強めるのは much / far / a lot。
○ no more than ＝ only、not more than ＝ 多くても
✗ no more than と not more than を同義で使う
意味が違う。
○ … the more you learn.
✗ The more you read, the more you will learned.
the 比較級 の後ろは通常の文。
強め方と no / not の違い。書き換えの対応もセットで覚えます。
