notwithstanding / albeit / conversely / henceforth / insofar / nonetheless。品詞と置ける位置が決まっている語群です。
品詞と位置の一覧
notwithstanding は前置詞で、名詞句の前にも後ろにも置けます（Notwithstanding the warnings / the warnings notwithstanding）。
albeit は although it be の縮約なので節ではなく形容詞句・名詞句を続けます。
insofar は as が必須（insofar as 〜）。
henceforth（今後）の対は hitherto（これまで）。
nonetheless / nevertheless は同義の接続副詞で、セミコロンか句点で区切ります。
似た接続の使い分け
conversely は「逆の場合には」（対称的な反転）、on the contrary は「それどころか」（相手の主張の否定）、in contrast は「対照的に」（並置）。
用途が違うので置き換えできません。
notwithstanding は書き言葉で despite と同義ですが、後置できる点が独特です。
insofar as は「〜する限りにおいて」で範囲を限定します。
つまずきやすい所

albeit は節を続けない（縮約形）。
○ insofar as the plan works
✗ insofar the plan works
as が必須。
○ conversely ＝ 逆の場合には／on the contrary ＝ それどころか
✗ conversely を on the contrary の意味で使う
働きが違う。
